AiRE :: Real Estate Development

We believe passionately that every San Diegan deserves a home. To make that a reality, we need More Homes ... lots of homes. And not just fancy high priced homes. We need homes at all income levels in areas where people want to live, work, and play.

AiRE exists to create those homes. We develop infill apartment and loft projects, urban subdivisions, and expand vacant structures to create more homes.

Apartments and Lofts

We build vertically to increase the number of homes our communities offer. We build amazing spaces focused on people - superior homes at competitive rents.

New Urban Houses

We subdivide existing parcels to increase the number of homes the land supports. We focus in communities where our new houses can sell below the regional median sales price.

Expansion

We respect existing community scale or zoning, utilizing affordable housing and density incentives, to turn vacant properties into homes for 3 or more families.



Project Spotlight | 16th St

Sometimes the most interesting projects aren't the biggest ones. This project involved rescuing a red-tagged 1884 home (really old for San Diego!), converting a commercial building to residential, subdivision of the parcel, new construction of an additional house, and utility undergrounding with other public improvements.

Not easy, but a challenging historical project we poured our passion into!
